Sept. 1, 2004 UTE LAKE, LOGAN, NEW MEXICO Assisted New Mexico State Police in locating drowning victim. Shoreline searching resulted in recovery of clothing articles. Boat searching resulted in K9 alerts logged in GPS units which were later confirmed as recovery location. Jan. 20, 2005 Lawrence Pond, Amarillo, Texas—assisted Amarillo PD in water search for female missing since December, 2004. Recovery resulted. Apr.26-27, 2005 June 26, 2005 LAKE ALAN HENRY, POST, TEXAS Assisted Lubbock PD divers in water search for missing boating accident victim. Dogs alerted all three times in same location, below surface trees and rock outcroppings. No recovery. Remains surfaced 2006. July 5, 2005 JOHNSON CITY, KANSAS Assisted Kansas Bureau of Investigation July 28-29, 2005 BUSHLAND, TEXAS Assisted Potter County Sheriff’s Office in searching for motor vehicle accident victim on ranch north of Bushland. Suspected DWI. No recovery. Remains found 2006 outside search area. Aug. 25, 2005 HEREFORD, TEXAS Assisted law enforcement in searching for missing Alzheimer's victim. Recovery resulted. Sept. 10, 2005 ALAMOGORDO, NEW MEXICO Deployed by NM Search And Rescue to search for young boy missing. Child found before arrival. Nov. 12, 2005 PALO DURO CANYON, TEXAS Deployed by park officials to help locate missing female hiker. Hiker walked into base camp. Dec. 30, 2005 LUBBOCK, TEXAS Buffalo Springs Lake, assisted law enforcement in search for partial remains. Recovery made. Feb. 17, 2006 Vega, Texas, assisted Potter County Sheriff to search for two missing children. Girls located. Feb. 19, 2006 Amarillo, Texas, deployed by Amarillo law enforcement to search for missing Alzheimer patient. Exposure recovery result. Mar. 27-28, 2006 Amarillo, Texas, partial unidentified remains found in trash truck; assisted Amarillo law enforcement in searching landfill for deceased victim. No recovery. May 16, 2006 Tucumcari, New Mexico, assisted New Mexico State Police divers in water search for 12 yr old male drowning victim. Recovery result. April, 2007 Cactus, Texas tornado — assisted law enforcement in clearing search areas for debris removal. June, 2007 Greenbelt Lake — assisted divers in searching for 4 yr old drowning victim. Recovery result. Sept. 19, 2007 Greenbelt Lake — assisted divers in searching for 18 yr old drowning victim. Recovery result. Sept. 26, 2007 Deployed by New Mexico Search And Rescue to search for 18 mos. old victim. Exposure recovery result. July 12, 2008 Lake Tanglewood — assisted rescue crews in searching for drowning victim. Recovery result. March 14, 2009 GLENCOE, NEW MEXICO Tunstall Canyon — Deployed by New Mexico Search And Rescue to search for 23 yr old missing person. AASK K9 teams located missing person. May 9, 2009 EAGLE NEST, NEW MEXICO Eagle Nest Lake — Deployed by Cibola County Sheriff’s Department to search for male drowning victim who fell overboard from his canoe. All dogs’ alerts logged in GPS units and entered onto map. No recovery; remains surfaced two weeks later. |
